Les frères Clément operates a 12,000 m² ModulAIR semi closed greenhouse in Arles, France, dedicated to the production of high quality beef and cocktail tomatoes. As one of the pioneering ModulAIR projects in France, the greenhouse was developed to provide growers Vincent and Davy Clément with greater control over climate, energy use and crop performance.

Before investing in a semi-closed greenhouse, the brothers were looking for a way to improve production efficiency while maintaining high quality standards for the French market. Together with Van der Hoeven, they implemented the ModulAIR greenhouse concept that combines advanced climate control with automated energy, irrigation and CO₂ management. This allows them to optimize growing conditions throughout the year while reducing resource consumption and limiting the need for crop protection products. 

The ModulAIR greenhouse enables a stable growing climate and supports healthier crops, higher yields and improved product quality. All climate, irrigation and energy processes are automatically managed, giving the growers greater insight and control while reducing daily operational complexity.

The project established the Clément brothers as pioneers of semi closed greenhouse cultivation in France. Through close collaboration with Van der Hoeven, they demonstrated how controlled environment agriculture can increase productivity while making more efficient use of energy, water and CO₂.
