Project description

Van der Hoeven and Costa Group have built a long standing partnership through multiple greenhouse projects in Australia. Across several phases, Van der Hoeven has delivered more than 400,000 m² of greenhouse facilities, including turnkey solutions and a dedicated propagation facility.

Costa’s greenhouse tomato production demonstrates the efficiency of protected cultivation, using 90% less water, 80% less fertilizer and 95% fewer pesticides compared with field grown crops.

Together, the projects support efficient and consistent year round tomato production while reflecting the long term collaboration between Costa and Van der Hoeven.
